Insurance Restoration

An Accredited Roofing representative will conduct an inspection of your home to determine extent of damage to your roof, siding, gutters, windows, and interior of your home.

We will ask you to call your insurance company to initiate a claim. (Unfortunately, insurance companies do not allow us to do this for you.)

Once you have an insurance claim number, our field supervisor will contact the Insurance Adjuster assigned to the claim. On your behalf, we will begin the restoration progress.

Our Field Supervisor will meet with the adjuster and point out all of the damage. We encourage you to be present during the inspection. However, if it is inconvenient to take time off work and you prefer not having to climb up on your roof, your attendance is not required. If the adjuster agrees with our assessment, we will notify you immediately. If they disagree or refuse to pay for everything we fell you are entitled to receive, again we will notify you immediately. We will then request that a different Adjuster re-inspect your home. if they still refuse to pay you what we honestly feel you are entitled to, we can an Arbitrator completely re-inspect your home. Once again, you are kept apprised on a daily basis.

Once we receive approval from your insurance, two things happen simultaneously. The Insurance Adjuster will tell your insurance company to write you a check for at least half of the total cost of the project. While you are waiting for your check you will pick out building materials and colors. Also, our field Supervisor will collect the insurance deductible, which is typically $ 250. This is your only out-of-pocket expense.

Next, our Field Supervisor will order the materials needed to replace the damaged areas.

When the materials are the right colors and that everything is correct. Also, at the time, our Field Supervisor will correct the first check you will have received from the insurance company. In the construction industry, it’s called a ” Material Drop Check ” because the materials have been dropped at the work site.

Once the Material Drop Check has been collected, our Production Manager will schedule the work to be done on your home and assign crews.

On the day of construction, our Project Manager will be at your home to meet the crews and get started.

Once everything is completed, you and our Field Supervisor will go over the Inspection check list together, point-by-point, to confirm that everything has been completed to your satisfaction.

After completion of the work on your home, we will invoice your insurance company for the remainder of the money due for this project. When you receive final payment from your insurance company, our Field Supervisor will come to your home to pick up the check and do a final inspection to make sure you are completely satisfied.
